インタビュー内容
①When did you become interested in Japan? Also, please tell us how it all started.
When I was in my second year of high school, I studied abroad in Shizuoka, Japan for a year.
The reason I chose Japan is because of the beautiful scenery, and I would like to see it.
Also, after living in Japan for a year, I gradually became interested in Japan
During that time, I thought that I would like to return to Japan someday.
②What do you like about Japan?
I think the Japanese way of life (customs and culture) matches my personality
For example, The strictness about time and manners.
I think it's wonderful that all the Japanese people have a proper way of life.
I want to be like that.
③Since when have you been studying Japanese?
I have been studying since 2014.
When I knew I was going to Japan, I immediately started studying Japanese with a notebook I bought online.
After graduating from high school, I studied Japanese literature at university.
I mainly started to study Japanese language only, and also studied Japanese culture and history.
④How did you feel when you got the job?
It was like a dream come true; I was really happy.
But from now I have a new responsibility, a big responsibility, so I think I have to do my best.
⑤What did your parents and friends say when you decided to go to Japan?
My parents were very happy. (They were delighted).
My parents are also interested in Japan. They are content with my situation.
My friend said the same, "Fatiha do not go back to Indonesia, we (parents/friends) will go on a trip to Japan."
⑥What did you do first when you decided to go to Japan?
Since I don't have many opportunities to use Japanese in Indonesia, I gradually forgot Japanese
When I knew I would go to Japan, I immediately started to practice speaking and listening Japanese.
(By calling Japanese friends and host families and watching Japanese movies.)
⑦You will be leaving for Japan soon. Please tell me how you feel now.
I am worried of course, but I am very happy to be able to go to Japan.
I think it would be nice if I could get used to Japan.
I am little bit worried, but I think I have to do my best.
⑧Lastly, please tell us about your aspirations for joining the company
It's my first time working (in Japan), so I might make mistakes,
But I am really looking forward to learning various things in Japan.
